What His Walk Says About Him, First Impresssions

What his walk says about him will appear in the May Cosmo on the newsstands in April.

1. The Power Walker talks long, confident strides and leans his body forward to move more quickly. He is ambitious and motivated, making him the kind of boyfriend who would pull his weight in a relationship. However, he can be so focused on his goal that he might tune everything else out including his mate.

2. The Thruster has a wide stance. His walk leads with his pelvis and juts out his elbows to make his body appear bigger. This is a person who is secure, but a bit vain. However, the way he holds his arms out shows he’s the protector in a relationship.

3. The Huncher slumps his shoulders, looks down, and takes shorter steps. He’s subconsciously protecting his heart, is guarded, and needs reassurance to feel at ease in new situations.

4. The Drifter doesn’t stay in his “walking lane” and his quick, on-the-go conversations are usually accompanied by wild hand gestures. He’s outgoing and passionate. He opens up easily, but he doesn’t offer up too much information.
