Don Lemon's Body Language in His Interview with Musk and His Interview on CNN for the US SUN.

The body language analysis of Dom Lemon and his interview with Musk and his interview on CNN I did for the Sun.
LEMON GOES 'SOUR'

Don Lemon’s body language in CNN return reveals he was left with ‘sour face’ when grilled on Elon Musk axing his show

Musk said Lemon seemed inauthentic in his interview with him

Body language expert Patti Wood noticed that instead of directly answering CNN host Erin Burnett’s first question, he quickly changed the subject to thank the network for having him on.

“It’s really interesting how he starts out,” Wood told The U.S. Sun.

"He wanted to pull in the fact that he wanted to be a star again by saying, 'Thanks for having me on the show.'"

“Instead of it just being, 'you’re having me on here for this thing,' but 'Hey I have a relationship, I’ve been here before.'"

Wood also highlighted how Lemon dodging the question suggested he wanted to be careful about what he was saying.

She noted that he knew it was a big deal to be on the show and wanted to be precise with his response.

“He was asked a really direct question right off the bat and instead of answering it immediately, he says ‘Thanks for having me on the show,’” Wood said.

“He wanted a moment to pull back on that, he wanted to wait before he approached the difficult question nonverbally.

“So when you answer a question immediately and you go to something else.

“That's always a sign that he knows how big this is and he knows how important this is and he wants to be very careful.”

Wood noted that Lemon also denied Burnett’s attempt to take control of the interview when he did not directly answer her question.

“Burnett wanted to jump in and take control of the interview but he was like ‘No I’m not going to let you do that,’’ Wood said.

TONE CHANGED

However, Lemon's tone took a turn to micro-aggression when he was asked about Musk being his boss.

During the CNN interview, Lemon said, "First of all he's not my boss."

"He never was my boss, he never had any editorial control. I wanted my work to be seen by the biggest number of people who could see it."

Wood said she noticed major changes in Lemon at this moment.

"When he was asked about Musk being his boss he got very micro-aggressive and had 'explosive' delivery when saying the word boss," she said.

"He had a sour face and repeated himself multiple times to make sure it wasn’t missed."

MUSK'S DISAPPROVAL

Lemon thought his conversation went well with Musk but said, "Clearly he felt differently.”

X was due to exclusively host a new talk show from Lemon, featuring the interview with Musk, on the platform but the deal was terminated on Wednesday.

Musk scrapped the partnership hours after their sit down chat, leaving Lemon baffled with a text which read, "contract terminated."

“His commitment to a global town square where all questions can be asked and all ideas can be shared seems not to include questions of him from people like me,” Lemon said.

"This will be just the first of many episodes of The Don Lemon Show.

"While Elon goes back on his word, I will be doubling down on my commitment to free speech and I cannot wait to get started.”

Musk said on X that Lemon's approach to the interview came off as inauthentic.

"His approach was basically just 'CNN, but on social media', which doesn’t work, as evidenced by the fact that CNN is dying," Musk said on X.

Body Language of President Biden’s Interview with Seth Meyers February 2024

President Biden’s Interview with Seth Meyers February 2024

Here is the video clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxuN3i84FNY

My talking points for my TV interview on NewNation are in rough form there

1)      President Biden's Funny comic timing

When Seth teased and said he had classified information and told Biden “You're currently 81 years old.” You see Biden’s comic timing. Biden turns quickly with strength and a playful lift in his voice, “Who the hell told you that” he smiles and pauses for the laugh smile then adds that’s classified and smiles and laughs looking straight at Seth, he shows he loves what Biden did by lifting up and out of his chair towards the president and you see them they share a moment of delight.

And he continues to smile and joke about the other guy who can’t even remember his wife’s name.  He hits on the words wife’s name like a true comic.

2)      Time code 4:14 The idea that the president/Trump is inviting Vladimir Putin, Notice how he orients his body to the audience to give the message to them he raises his hands then strikes down as he says this showing his desire to slice that request away. Also, notice his face as he says this and how bizarre it is. His face shows his dissonance. On one side of his face his eye is shut tight and twisted to the side and one side of his is twisted up and closed.

3)       This next is scary to me because he says it and how he says it.

“I’ve known every major foreign leader…these leaders longest time... They are scared to death for what it means to them… scared to death if we walk away. In forensic linguistic analysis, he uses strong terms SCARED TO DEATH, and repeats it to emphasize it. That is not a wishy-washy statement and he says it with a strong voice and reaches out with cupped hands to Seth to emphasize he needs to hold things together then at 4:35 we get a flash of sadness and withheld tears, notice this crumbling chin and protruding lower lip and the folds between his brows. This is an intense reveal of how bad this is for the world.

4.)  6:40 or so Twice during the interview he talks about Trump’s behavior and then when he realizes he rants on jokes “I don’t want to get started” with a comic delivery.

5) As he talks about Israel and Palestine… Notice how his hand raises open cupped palms down and pats gently downward .. “You also have to have an opportunity to have peace and security” This reveals his desire to calm down or hold down the intense( raised hand rather than low) conflict. It reveals both how big the conflict in the world is and also that he feels he must and can pat it down.  He keeps his hands there for a moment revealing that it’s a long process, and he has to keep patting it down.  We could go on and talk about it.

Video of President Biden with Seth Meyers in an ice cream parlor.

President Biden is leaning on the counter with a singular focus, we know he loves ice cream, but it creates a “Gotcha” moment because eating ice cream a joyful, silly body language and an ice cream cone stuck in his hand and he is being asked about a ceasefire in Gaza. And though he subdues his smile and answers in a calm confident voice His body language automatically doesn’t match the seriousness of the question.

Meaning Behind the Kiss Between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce by Body Language Expert Patti Wood

There's A Deeper Meaning to Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce's Kiss Here is the full article I contributed to for Elite Daily

They made two back-to-back public appearances over the weekend, both of which involved them holding hands. Here they are on Saturday night at the SNL after-party

On Nov. 11, minutes after Taylor Swift wrapped up her second Buenos Aires show, she and Travis Kelce kissed in public for the first time. Since videos of the sweet moment went viral, Swift and Kelce’s makeout has been watched millions of times. And according to a body language expert, there’s a good reason for fans to be swooning over this kiss.

In the video, Swift ran to Kelce, putting her arms around him and going right into a steamy kiss. “There’s an immediacy of her finishing her performance and going to him. She could have stayed and savored her audience, but what she wanted to do immediately was be with him,” Patti Wood, expert body language analyst, tells Elite Daily. “It wasn’t that she was pretending to run. It was a genuine rush — urgency that went through her whole body.”

Swift also exhibited something Wood calls “up body language,” which is a sign of joy. Before the singer got to Kelce and kissed him, she put her arms up in preparation. “She’s a good eight feet away from him when her arms start to rise up [to hug him]. That kind of up body language usually happens at six feet away. Her doing it so early indicates that she has absolute certainty of a positive response from him.”

Wood, the author of Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language, and Charisma, also notes how Swift jumped into Kelce’s arms. “It’s like how a little kid jumps into their parents’ arms. She is absolutely certain that he is going to catch her.”

Kelce, for his part, took the moment in stride. “When he lifts her, his arms are locked around her waist, so she feels secure. Then he swings her around, taking her full weight,” Wood says. According to her, his hold on Swift was “not possessive, but secure.” The moment was also very reminiscent of Swift’s lyrics from “Crazier,” which she released in 2009: “You lift my feet off the ground / You spin me around / You make me crazier, crazier.”

As they walked away together, Kelce kept his arm around her — and notably, his thumb was pointed upward. “It’s a sign that he’s feeling happy and joyful,” Wood says. Swift, meanwhile, kept her arm around Kelce’s shoulder, showing “a tiny bit of ownership,” Wood adds.

And the kiss wasn’t the only noteworthy body language of the Nov. 11 show. When Swift performed “Karma,” the last song of her set list, she gave Kelce a shoutout. The original lyrics go: “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me.” But Swift changed them to: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.”

A fan video caught Kelce hearing the line change in real-time — and per Wood, he seemed totally OK with the attention. “What’s cute is he has his hands over his face, but it’s a joyful embarrassment,” Wood says. “Look at how lifted up his elbows are, they’re almost straight up. When you’re more embarrassed in an ashamed way, you keep your elbows down and tend to move your body backward.”

Kelce also kept bouncing and dancing after the moment, making it clear that he was having fun with Swift’s shoutout.

All in all, Swift and Kelce’s vibe had a “playful” energy to it. Their body language reflected spontaneous joy, something they’re “on the same page” about, Wood says.

Taylor Swift's Body Language with Travis Kelce's Mom by Body Language Expert Patti Wood

The link to the full Taylor Swift article in Elite Daily is here. Taylor Swift

Behold: Body Language Expert Patti Wood's analysis of Taylor Swift and Donna's Body Language.

“Meet the Parents” takes on a new level of intimidation when you’re being broadcast to millions of football fans. But Taylor Swift has been faring just fine under the pressure. Taylor has attended not one, but two Chiefs games alongside Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce — and according to a body language expert, the singer has made quite the impression.

On Oct. 12, Taylor and Donna sat together to watch Travis play against the Denver Broncos, looking like the best of friends. But only six days earlier, Donna discussed Taylor on the Today show — and when she described meeting her as “OK,” fans thought Donna was a little unenthusiastic about hanging with the pop star.

Watching the Oct. 6 interview, expert body language analyst Patti Wood doesn’t think there was any shade directed toward Taylor. “She had asked [Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager] not to talk to her about that,” Wood points out to Elite Daily. “Her irritation in the moment is due to the fact that she’s uncomfortable because they broke a boundary.”

TL;DR, there wasn’t any reason for Taylor and Donna to have tension at game No. 2, so their camaraderie on Oct. 12 makes total sense. Wood, author of Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language, and Charisma, explains that their body language at the Chiefs vs. Broncos game indicated “true intimacy and happiness together.” Here’s how she can tell.

Taylor Whispered In Donna’s Ear

During the game, Taylor was photographed whispering to Donna — a move that Wood says indicates a certain level of closeness. “Taylor brings her face into the intimate zone of space and uses her hands to cover what she’s saying,” Wood says. (BTW, intimate zone of space is the technical term for close physical contact, about 16 inches.)

The fact that Taylor raised her hand to hide her mouth is also noteworthy. “That’s an exclusionary body language cue,” Wood explains. “It tells me, ‘What I’m saying is just between the two of us. It’s not for public view.’”

This combination of physical closeness and exclusionary signaling was an “indication of having an intimate and easygoing relationship that isn’t just for public view,” per Wood.

It’s a dynamic that Donna seemed to enjoy. “Her laugh is sincere. It’s not for the audience, crowd, or photographers,” Wood says. There are a few ways she can tell. “Donna has an open mouth smile, showing the back of her mouth, her teeth are showing, and her cheeks are extremely lifted up. That kind of ‘up’ body language tells me this photo is capturing a true laugh and true joy.”

Taylor Leaned In To Listen

As the game went on, Taylor and Donna were photographed talking to one another. At one point, Taylor leaned in to listen, so much so that their heads touched. “Both of them feel very comfortable,” Wood says. “Taylor is making the move to get in that close, and Donna is accepting of that. She still has that lifted facial expression, indicating genuine joy.”

In the photo, Taylor and Donna are displaying similar facial expressions, especially if you look at their mouth and eyes. Apparently, the fact that they shared the “same expression” was another good sign. “They’re in the moment together,” Wood says.

But Wood notes one surprising detail in this pic: how Taylor is holding her hands. “That odd way Taylor’s holding her hands tells me that she wants to put her hand on Donna’s shoulder, but she’s holding herself back from being too touchy-feely in front of the cameras.”

They Mirrored Each Other

Throughout the game, Taylor and Donna seemed to be on the same page. In this photo, for example, Wood points out that they are “matching and mirroring” each other. “The fact that they’re both touching their noses is probably because something funny or crude happened.”

It’s not just the one hand on the nose, either. “Both have their other hand up, too. And even their eye placement is very similar,” Wood says.

That level of matching and mirroring is another good sign; not only were Taylor and Donna in the moment together, but they were sharing almost identical reactions to the experience, hinting at “like-mindedness.”

Body Language of Taylor Swift Analyzed by Body Language Expert Patti Wood

Here is the LinktoTaylorSwiftBodyLanguagearticle in Elite Daily

Here is an Except for  Elite Daily

Travis Kelce is headed to the Super Bowl, and Taylor Swift is celebrating her boyfriend’s success. On Jan. 29, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens at the AFC Championship, meaning they’ll be at the NFL Championship on Feb. 11. Following the Chiefs’ 17-10 victory over the Ravens, Swift congratulated Kelce on the field, and their sweet post-game interaction is going viral.

According to body language expert Patti Wood, there’s a legitimate reason behind fans’ interest in the couple — and it’s not just because both Swift and Kelce are uber-successful hotties. Instead, she tells Elite Daily that the sincerity in the couple’s body language is what’s so appealing — and it’s something fans are picking up on, even subconsciously.

“When you're looking at them together, it makes you feel good,” Wood, who wrote Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language, and Charisma, explains. “People are saying, ‘Why are we so fascinated by them?’ It's because it's real. You're feeling some of their emotional state.”

Tere’s a full breakdown of Swift and Kelce’s post-win body language. At the blue link above.

Sydney Sweeney's body language with her fiancé, Jonathan Davino and her co-star, Glen Powell

THERE are significant differences in how actress Sydney Sweeney has been carrying herself in public recently, according to a body language expert.

Sweeney stars in the new film Anyone But You alongside Glen Powell and has been engaged to Jonathan Davino since early 2022.

Sweeney and Powell - who sparked rumors earlier this year while looking flirty on set - have been promoting the recently released film.

Davino has also joined for some of Sweeney's appearances, including earlier this week in Sydney, Australia.

But there have been some stark contrasts in how Sweeney has carried herself around the two.

Body language expert Patti Wood spoke exclusively to The U.S. Sun to explain the differences in Sweeney's posture and positioning around each of the men.

In photos of Sweeney and Davino about to board a private jet following a red-carpet appearance in Sydney, Wood noticed some friction.

"She's got so much tension in her body," the expert said of Sweeney.

But Wood noted that Sweeney's super high heels and the fact that she had to hold her dress up affected how she carried herself.

Sweeney looked over her shoulder at Davino in one snap, which Wood said was "not a pleasant look."

“It is like a little bubble beside her head would be saying 'Ew.’”

Wood said that could have been because she had to climb stairs with an initial big step up to get on the plane in those high heels.

“That's the only time there’s a moment between them," she said.

"The only moment that she is sharing with him is that 'What the heck am I supposed to do?' And he cannot really help her.”

'DOESN'T REALLY WANT TO BE THERE'

But Sweeney was not alone in her seeming discomfort.

Wood said of Davino: “More than anything, it just feels like he is awkward, more like a kid dressed for Sunday school and does not want to be dressed up.

"That's the way his body language is - as if he doesn’t really want to be there."

Wood called Davino's leg placement awkward, along with his choice of shoes with his suit and how he is holding his arms.

"I’m getting this, 'I'm not where I want to be' kind of vibe from him," she said.

In all the images of the couple, Wood could physically see Sweeney's discomfort.

"She is holding the dress right at her 'private parts' - so she is not showing that elegant-ness, ‘I’m super confident’ vibe," Wood said.

"Even though she's gorgeous in that dress, she doesn't feel that.

"I’m getting the vibe that he's not helping her feel that," Wood said of Davino.

“He's not giving her a reassuring touch; he’s not learning toward her ... [with her look back at him] there’s sort of an expectation that he should help her and he's not fulfilling that role."‌

'COMPLETELY DIFFERENT HER'

In a separate shot of Sweeney from the same evening, where she’s posing and confident, Wood picked up significant differences.

“This is a completely different her,” Wood said, comparing Sweeney with Davino to one particular press photo of the solo starlet.

Analysis of the Body Language in the Republican Presidential Nominee Debates. Ramaswamy, Desantis, Haley and Christie's Body Language, Debate

Key Moments and Nonverbal Analysis
of the Republican  Debates
Below are my rough notes in preparation for my TV interview

1: RAMASWAMY Attacking Haley about not being able to name PROVINCES

Vivek - “It is one thing that Joe Biden and Nikki Haley have in common. Is that neither of them could even state for you three provinces in eastern Ukraine that they want to send our troops to fight for. Look at that. This is what I want people to understand. She has no idea what the names of those provinces are but wants to send our sons, daughters, and military equipment to go fight it.”

My read - Ramaswamy FINGER WAGGING Pointing– He did throughout the debates as a symbolic weapon, which was not even acceptable in debates until a few years ago, but here it's worse he is attacking a woman, yelling, and pointing over and over. You can say oh it is a speech but in domestic violence and my threat assessment work that is a red flag warning that the man wants to physically hurt you.

It reminded me of the Hilary Clinton Trump debate where he came across the stage and stalked up her as she spoke. This is no small nonverbal behavior.

2: CHRISTIE RAMASWAMY BLOWHARD (CHRISTIE ATTACKING RAMASWAMY)

Christie: “We see it on video. We confront you on the debate stage. You say you did not say it and back away. This is the fourth debate and you will be voted in the first 20 minutes as the most obnoxious blowhard in America so shut up for a little while. (cheers).”

My read - Christie – It is a sword fight; you see Christie finger-pointing and wagging and Ramaswamy pointing back. Christie's is Matching and Mirroring that level of violence. Christie is relaxed resting his arm on the podium, in a nonverbal response that says, “I have been fighting in the real world all my life buddy, you can’t scare me.” Nonverbal Response

3: Video of Haley being attacked HALEY ATTENTION FELLAS

DeSantis: “We know from her history that Nikki will cave to those big donors when it counts” //flash//Ramaswamy: “The only person more fascist than the Biden regime now is Nikki Haley who thinks the government should identify every one of those individuals with an ID. That is now freedom, that is fascism and she should come nowhere near the levels of power let alone the white house.” //flash//Haley: “I love all the attention fellas, thank you for that.”

My read - They Attacked Haley for a good twelve minutes at the beginning of the debates. Their yelling, angry faces, verbal insults, and the length of time were clear behavioral indications. They think she is the one to beat. Notice she smiles, it is a little bit tight, but her voice is warm and lilting beauty pageant way.

4: DESANTIS TRUMP AGE – “FATHER TIME IS UNDEFEATED” (HAS LOTS OF YELLING)

a.  (In 0:00) – (Shows Christie and DeSantis yelling) “Someone that is almost 80 years old it does not mean that someone can get elected. Ron! Ron!” //flash//” Father time is undefeated, and I do not know how someone will score on a test, but I know this we have an opportunity to nominate and elect someone for two terms.”

My read - DeSantis here and throughout the debates is giving an overly extended raised forehead, eyes wide look that is the poster face for deception. In my deception detection speeches, I give the example of a little 2-year-old covered in cookie crumbs saying with that face, “I didn’t still the cookies I didn’t do it!”
