President Biden's Body Language as He is Eating Ice Cream and is asked about the Gaza Cease Fire, Seth Meyers

Leaning on the counter with a single focus, we know he loves ice cream, but it creates a gotcha moment because eating ice cream is joyful, silly body language, an ice cream cone stuck in his hand and he is being asked about a ceasefire in Gaza. And though he subdues his smile and answers in a calm confident voice His body language automatically doesn’t match the seriousness of the question.

Meaning Behind the Kiss Between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce by Body Language Expert Patti Wood

There's A Deeper Meaning to Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce's Kiss Here is the full article I contributed to for Elite Daily

They made two back-to-back public appearances over the weekend, both of which involved them holding hands. Here they are on Saturday night at the SNL after-party

On Nov. 11, minutes after Taylor Swift wrapped up her second Buenos Aires show, she and Travis Kelce kissed in public for the first time. Since videos of the sweet moment went viral, Swift and Kelce’s makeout has been watched millions of times. And according to a body language expert, there’s a good reason for fans to be swooning over this kiss.

In the video, Swift ran to Kelce, putting her arms around him and going right into a steamy kiss. “There’s an immediacy of her finishing her performance and going to him. She could have stayed and savored her audience, but what she wanted to do immediately was be with him,” Patti Wood, expert body language analyst, tells Elite Daily. “It wasn’t that she was pretending to run. It was a genuine rush — urgency that went through her whole body.”

Swift also exhibited something Wood calls “up body language,” which is a sign of joy. Before the singer got to Kelce and kissed him, she put her arms up in preparation. “She’s a good eight feet away from him when her arms start to rise up [to hug him]. That kind of up body language usually happens at six feet away. Her doing it so early indicates that she has absolute certainty of a positive response from him.”

Wood, the author of Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language, and Charisma, also notes how Swift jumped into Kelce’s arms. “It’s like how a little kid jumps into their parents’ arms. She is absolutely certain that he is going to catch her.”

Kelce, for his part, took the moment in stride. “When he lifts her, his arms are locked around her waist, so she feels secure. Then he swings her around, taking her full weight,” Wood says. According to her, his hold on Swift was “not possessive, but secure.” The moment was also very reminiscent of Swift’s lyrics from “Crazier,” which she released in 2009: “You lift my feet off the ground / You spin me around / You make me crazier, crazier.”

As they walked away together, Kelce kept his arm around her — and notably, his thumb was pointed upward. “It’s a sign that he’s feeling happy and joyful,” Wood says. Swift, meanwhile, kept her arm around Kelce’s shoulder, showing “a tiny bit of ownership,” Wood adds.

And the kiss wasn’t the only noteworthy body language of the Nov. 11 show. When Swift performed “Karma,” the last song of her set list, she gave Kelce a shoutout. The original lyrics go: “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me.” But Swift changed them to: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.”

A fan video caught Kelce hearing the line change in real-time — and per Wood, he seemed totally OK with the attention. “What’s cute is he has his hands over his face, but it’s a joyful embarrassment,” Wood says. “Look at how lifted up his elbows are, they’re almost straight up. When you’re more embarrassed in an ashamed way, you keep your elbows down and tend to move your body backward.”

Kelce also kept bouncing and dancing after the moment, making it clear that he was having fun with Swift’s shoutout.

All in all, Swift and Kelce’s vibe had a “playful” energy to it. Their body language reflected spontaneous joy, something they’re “on the same page” about, Wood says.

Taylor Swift's Body Language with Travis Kelce's Mom by Body Language Expert Patti Wood

Behold: Body Language Expert Patti Wood's analysis of Taylor Swift and Donna's Body Language.

“Meet the Parents” takes on a new level of intimidation when you’re being broadcast to millions of football fans. But Taylor Swift has been faring just fine under the pressure. Taylor has attended not one, but two Chiefs games alongside Travis Kelce’s mom, Donna Kelce — and according to a body language expert, the singer has made quite the impression.

On Oct. 12, Taylor and Donna sat together to watch Travis play against the Denver Broncos, looking like the best of friends. But only six days earlier, Donna discussed Taylor on the Today show — and when she described meeting her as “OK,” fans thought Donna was a little unenthusiastic about hanging with the pop star.

Watching the Oct. 6 interview, expert body language analyst Patti Wood doesn’t think there was any shade directed toward Taylor. “She had asked [Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager] not to talk to her about that,” Wood points out to Elite Daily. “Her irritation in the moment is due to the fact that she’s uncomfortable because they broke a boundary.”

TL;DR, there wasn’t any reason for Taylor and Donna to have tension at game No. 2, so their camaraderie on Oct. 12 makes total sense. Wood, author of Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language, and Charisma, explains that their body language at the Chiefs vs. Broncos game indicated “true intimacy and happiness together.” Here’s how she can tell.

Taylor Whispered In Donna’s Ear

During the game, Taylor was photographed whispering to Donna — a move that Wood says indicates a certain level of closeness. “Taylor brings her face into the intimate zone of space and uses her hands to cover what she’s saying,” Wood says. (BTW, intimate zone of space is the technical term for close physical contact, about 16 inches.)

The fact that Taylor raised her hand to hide her mouth is also noteworthy. “That’s an exclusionary body language cue,” Wood explains. “It tells me, ‘What I’m saying is just between the two of us. It’s not for public view.’”

This combination of physical closeness and exclusionary signaling was an “indication of having an intimate and easygoing relationship that isn’t just for public view,” per Wood.

It’s a dynamic that Donna seemed to enjoy. “Her laugh is sincere. It’s not for the audience, crowd, or photographers,” Wood says. There are a few ways she can tell. “Donna has an open mouth smile, showing the back of her mouth, her teeth are showing, and her cheeks are extremely lifted up. That kind of ‘up’ body language tells me this photo is capturing a true laugh and true joy.”

Taylor Leaned In To Listen

As the game went on, Taylor and Donna were photographed talking to one another. At one point, Taylor leaned in to listen, so much so that their heads touched. “Both of them feel very comfortable,” Wood says. “Taylor is making the move to get in that close, and Donna is accepting of that. She still has that lifted facial expression, indicating genuine joy.”

In the photo, Taylor and Donna are displaying similar facial expressions, especially if you look at their mouth and eyes. Apparently, the fact that they shared the “same expression” was another good sign. “They’re in the moment together,” Wood says.

But Wood notes one surprising detail in this pic: how Taylor is holding her hands. “That odd way Taylor’s holding her hands tells me that she wants to put her hand on Donna’s shoulder, but she’s holding herself back from being too touchy-feely in front of the cameras.”

They Mirrored Each Other

Throughout the game, Taylor and Donna seemed to be on the same page. In this photo, for example, Wood points out that they are “matching and mirroring” each other. “The fact that they’re both touching their noses is probably because something funny or crude happened.”

It’s not just the one hand on the nose, either. “Both have their other hand up, too. And even their eye placement is very similar,” Wood says.

That level of matching and mirroring is another good sign; not only were Taylor and Donna in the moment together, but they were sharing almost identical reactions to the experience, hinting at “like-mindedness.”

Body Language of Taylor Swift Analyzed by Body Language Expert Patti Wood

Here is an Except for  Elite Daily

Travis Kelce is headed to the Super Bowl, and Taylor Swift is celebrating her boyfriend’s success. On Jan. 29, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens at the AFC Championship, meaning they’ll be at the NFL Championship on Feb. 11. Following the Chiefs’ 17-10 victory over the Ravens, Swift congratulated Kelce on the field, and their sweet post-game interaction is going viral.

According to body language expert Patti Wood, there’s a legitimate reason behind fans’ interest in the couple — and it’s not just because both Swift and Kelce are uber-successful hotties. Instead, she tells Elite Daily that the sincerity in the couple’s body language is what’s so appealing — and it’s something fans are picking up on, even subconsciously.

“When you're looking at them together, it makes you feel good,” Wood, who wrote Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language, and Charisma, explains. “People are saying, ‘Why are we so fascinated by them?’ It's because it's real. You're feeling some of their emotional state.”

Tere’s a full breakdown of Swift and Kelce’s post-win body language. At the blue link above.
