Body Language of President Biden’s Interview with Seth Meyers February 2024

President Biden’s Interview with Seth Meyers February 2024

Here is the video clip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxuN3i84FNY

My talking points for my TV interview on NewNation are in rough form there

1)      President Biden's Funny comic timing

When Seth teased and said he had classified information and told Biden “You're currently 81 years old.” You see Biden’s comic timing. Biden turns quickly with strength and a playful lift in his voice, “Who the hell told you that” he smiles and pauses for the laugh smile then adds that’s classified and smiles and laughs looking straight at Seth, he shows he loves what Biden did by lifting up and out of his chair towards the president and you see them they share a moment of delight.

And he continues to smile and joke about the other guy who can’t even remember his wife’s name.  He hits on the words wife’s name like a true comic.

2)      Time code 4:14 The idea that the president/Trump is inviting Vladimir Putin, Notice how he orients his body to the audience to give the message to them he raises his hands then strikes down as he says this showing his desire to slice that request away. Also, notice his face as he says this and how bizarre it is. His face shows his dissonance. On one side of his face his eye is shut tight and twisted to the side and one side of his is twisted up and closed.

3)       This next is scary to me because he says it and how he says it.

“I’ve known every major foreign leader…these leaders longest time... They are scared to death for what it means to them… scared to death if we walk away. In forensic linguistic analysis, he uses strong terms SCARED TO DEATH, and repeats it to emphasize it. That is not a wishy-washy statement and he says it with a strong voice and reaches out with cupped hands to Seth to emphasize he needs to hold things together then at 4:35 we get a flash of sadness and withheld tears, notice this crumbling chin and protruding lower lip and the folds between his brows. This is an intense reveal of how bad this is for the world.

4.)  6:40 or so Twice during the interview he talks about Trump’s behavior and then when he realizes he rants on jokes “I don’t want to get started” with a comic delivery.

5) As he talks about Israel and Palestine… Notice how his hand raises open cupped palms down and pats gently downward .. “You also have to have an opportunity to have peace and security” This reveals his desire to calm down or hold down the intense( raised hand rather than low) conflict. It reveals both how big the conflict in the world is and also that he feels he must and can pat it down.  He keeps his hands there for a moment revealing that it’s a long process, and he has to keep patting it down.  We could go on and talk about it.

Video of President Biden with Seth Meyers in an ice cream parlor.

President Biden is leaning on the counter with a singular focus, we know he loves ice cream, but it creates a “Gotcha” moment because eating ice cream a joyful, silly body language and an ice cream cone stuck in his hand and he is being asked about a ceasefire in Gaza. And though he subdues his smile and answers in a calm confident voice His body language automatically doesn’t match the seriousness of the question.

Meaning Behind the Kiss Between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce by Body Language Expert Patti Wood

There's A Deeper Meaning to Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce's Kiss Here is the full article I contributed to for Elite Daily

They made two back-to-back public appearances over the weekend, both of which involved them holding hands. Here they are on Saturday night at the SNL after-party

On Nov. 11, minutes after Taylor Swift wrapped up her second Buenos Aires show, she and Travis Kelce kissed in public for the first time. Since videos of the sweet moment went viral, Swift and Kelce’s makeout has been watched millions of times. And according to a body language expert, there’s a good reason for fans to be swooning over this kiss.

In the video, Swift ran to Kelce, putting her arms around him and going right into a steamy kiss. “There’s an immediacy of her finishing her performance and going to him. She could have stayed and savored her audience, but what she wanted to do immediately was be with him,” Patti Wood, expert body language analyst, tells Elite Daily. “It wasn’t that she was pretending to run. It was a genuine rush — urgency that went through her whole body.”

Swift also exhibited something Wood calls “up body language,” which is a sign of joy. Before the singer got to Kelce and kissed him, she put her arms up in preparation. “She’s a good eight feet away from him when her arms start to rise up [to hug him]. That kind of up body language usually happens at six feet away. Her doing it so early indicates that she has absolute certainty of a positive response from him.”

Wood, the author of Snap: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language, and Charisma, also notes how Swift jumped into Kelce’s arms. “It’s like how a little kid jumps into their parents’ arms. She is absolutely certain that he is going to catch her.”

Kelce, for his part, took the moment in stride. “When he lifts her, his arms are locked around her waist, so she feels secure. Then he swings her around, taking her full weight,” Wood says. According to her, his hold on Swift was “not possessive, but secure.” The moment was also very reminiscent of Swift’s lyrics from “Crazier,” which she released in 2009: “You lift my feet off the ground / You spin me around / You make me crazier, crazier.”

As they walked away together, Kelce kept his arm around her — and notably, his thumb was pointed upward. “It’s a sign that he’s feeling happy and joyful,” Wood says. Swift, meanwhile, kept her arm around Kelce’s shoulder, showing “a tiny bit of ownership,” Wood adds.

And the kiss wasn’t the only noteworthy body language of the Nov. 11 show. When Swift performed “Karma,” the last song of her set list, she gave Kelce a shoutout. The original lyrics go: “Karma is the guy on the screen, coming straight home to me.” But Swift changed them to: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me.”

A fan video caught Kelce hearing the line change in real-time — and per Wood, he seemed totally OK with the attention. “What’s cute is he has his hands over his face, but it’s a joyful embarrassment,” Wood says. “Look at how lifted up his elbows are, they’re almost straight up. When you’re more embarrassed in an ashamed way, you keep your elbows down and tend to move your body backward.”

Kelce also kept bouncing and dancing after the moment, making it clear that he was having fun with Swift’s shoutout.

All in all, Swift and Kelce’s vibe had a “playful” energy to it. Their body language reflected spontaneous joy, something they’re “on the same page” about, Wood says.
