Nixon Resignation Photo Body Language Expert Patti Wood

Nixon shows a mixture of emotions The downward gaze and eyebrow and upper eyelid droop of sadness while his nose wrinkles up in disgust and his raised upper lips with the left side of the lip raised higher and the downward turn of his mouth shows suppressed contempt. What is so interesting is that he hold his iconic thumbs-up gesture at slightly below his shoulder level, in the last effort to show he is a winner and that all is well. It's quite the juxtaposition as it doesn’t align with his facial expressions and it effects how we now view all photos of him with his thumbs up before this one.

Trump Handshake Rebuff House Speaker Pelosi ripping up her copy of Trump’s State Of the Union

Much has been said of House Speaker Pelosi ripping up her copy of Trump’s State Of the Union Address but not everyone saw this moment where Pelosi put out her hand at the beginning of the State of the Union as she takes the address he offers with her left hand and Trump who just handed it to her and should have initiated the shake at that time see her hand out and the moment later, not photographed where he rebuffed her outward stretched hand. This is Iconic because of the controversy including those who said he didn’t see her hand, when clearly in this photo he sees it. What’s also interesting are the facial expressions and other cues Pelosi is leaning forward actually giving Trump a soft smile and her full eye contact as she extends her hand with the fingers tightly and tensely held together, one finger even bent and folded over the others and hand-stretched out and downward. She is showing she wants to fully engage with Trump and shake hands, but it’s not a passive shake offer, nor are the fingers curved in friendship. Trump is looking right at her outstretched hand and leaves his arm down at his side and fingers curved down and towards himself. You see his hand in the curved position your hand typically takes to shake hands and he even has the hand at the ready at the waist position. But his shoulder points to her in slight “cold shoulder” position instead. Notice his downward turned “bad taste in my mouth” and chin and jaw withdraw facial expression.

Body Language of Hitler With a Child by Body Language Expert Patti Wood

I am an expert on Hitler’s body language and have watched 100’s of hours of videos of him as well as over 1,000 still photos of him. I have noticed though there are many photo “ops” with Children
He never seems to really connect, instead, he seems like an outsider looking on. This photo shows exactly that. The child with a sun-in-her eyes unhappy squint is focused and facing the photographer confidently posed and right elbow back and her right elbow out and back in a “power block” to Hitler from getting closer while Hitler sits behind her slightly hunched forward and left hand awkwardly and passively placed between his legs.

This photo reveals something that I see in Hitler his lack of full confident self-esteem when he is not fully “on” and in Character as well as his awkwardness with Children who have the ability, because their reliance on nonverbal cues rather than fancy words can have the ability to see to a person’s true soul.

New Photo Body Language of Meghan and Harry

I love how they are holding hand with him wanting her hand as close as possible to him, Her smile is lifted up and an open mouth showing, revealing her great happiness and he is doing his characteristic protective touch to his belly that is protective and yet at this moment with his elbow out to show dominance looks more jaunty than protective. That touch on his stomach is something he has done for years and really seems to be his royal amour and it was fun to see how later in the relationship he has done this less when he was with her. Perhaps predicting their later transition. This photo is after their announcement when they are under deep scrutiny about their transition so it doesn’t surprise me.

Peace Talks Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin Body Language Expert Patti Wood S

See how Roosevelt is sitting in the middle power-seat legs spread out and toes pointed outward, bearing in mind his psychical issues that may have required that this photo be taken with all three men sitting rather than standing while others stood around them. He still looks powerful. Notice how Stalin is smiling but his hands are in a protective castle wall over his vulnerable lower belly/pelvis Showing he needs to protect his manliness and his outside foot out toes pointed outward show he is ready to go. And Churchill too is smiling and in good spirits. These men are dividing up Europe and they are happy to have the chance to show their power and do it their way.
